ON THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED IN SWITZERLAND

The road less taken is where I want to take you! This would be an example of the type of travel experience that I offer: a fabulous view from an excursion to do some cheese-making this past fall, as I took my husband and some friends exploring with a private guide, off the beaten path in Switzerland:

Totally a “hands-on” day, we got up to our elbows in things ~ the leftover whey from the cheese making is said to be a real skin softener!

Of course a morning of hard work deserved a just reward! Our guide (back right) made sure our time in Switzerland was Ahmazing!

A run of good weather allowed for stunning views of the Alps and for libations and some great local cuisine outdoors under the shadow of the Eiger.

There was also plenty of hiking through canyons carved out by cascading waterfalls,

and steamy hot chocolate with plenty of whip cream to stave off the chill of an autumn afternoon as snowflakes prepared to fly across the mountain tops!

This special trip wasn’t limited to just exploring the Swiss countryside, but included plenty of shopping, dining, and people-watching opportunities in Berne, Interlaken, and Lucerne.

And how could it ever be Switzerland without chocolate!
